    On Google reservation, they did not specify the need to pay $6/pax for mandatory plate of edamame and lettuce in a VIP room. It was state that usage of VIP room is FOC. In fact, they did not mention that it was with the charcoal grill for 2 tables for my 7 pax. We intended to have only the mains, but we were all caught by surprise for with the charcoal grill that was already heated up upon arrival. They left us with no choice but to use it and order meat as well. The main dishes were okay. The alcohol price for the meat dishes is only for those who order 1 alcoholic drink each. It did not make sense mathematically for the dishes we had and for the price of the alcohol. The female service staff were fine, but the one male staff with spectacles was particularly rude and clearly frustrated with our group when we needed more time to decide on the menu. All the extra costs like edamame and lettuce, were only told to us after we made the main order. The grill was also dripping dirty oil.

    Boss might want to consider QR code ordering to ease the process for buffet allowing waiters/waitresses focus more on efficience and attention to customers.

    Description

    One of the famous Japanese BBQ shops in Singapore, "Yakiniku-Oh." We import Wagyu beef directly from Japan, so it is very fresh and offered at a lower cost than other shops.

     Grill it yourself over charcoal, and you will enjoy a special aroma and taste. We have many à la carte menu items, and you can also choose "BBQ Buffet" or "Enkai with free-flow drinks."

    Private rooms are available. Large room for up to 12 pax, standard room for up to 6 pax. No room fee, but it’s first come, first served! Let’s enjoy Japanese BBQ at Yakiniku-Oh. (Aug 2025)
