    For the $48 dish I paid I was expecting the eel from Japan and not farm in China. I had eaten in the same restaurant in Kyoto, same dish .itr was definitely more succulent even after being grilled . The grilling in Singapore is not great .

    The quality of Unagi is slightly burnt. Food quality overall is still good but can’t compare to the one in Japan itself. Service is excellent.
