    Good food variety. Restuarant has improved on serving time. However, air-conditioning can be improved.

    Highly recommended Taiwanese cafe serving good food. However, Kallang Wave Mall staff were not knowledgeable enough on the new member reward program which cause some hiccups. Hope this can be improved.

Bringing Taiwanese favourites and the comforting taste of home-cooked meals, Typhoon Cafe is ready to catch the hearts of the easties of Singapore.

    Boasting an extensive menu, you will be spoilt for choice with every category. For starters, go for their signature savoury Typhoon Momofuku Buns with melt-in-your-mouth tender pork belly, or try out their crispy Oyster Omelette with generous helpings of fresh oysters. Warm yourselves up on cold days with a comforting bowl of Crab Meat Broth with Glass Noodles, or replenish your inner ‘qi’ with a nourishing bowl of Herbal Chicken Soup.

    A must-try at Typhoon is their Signature Tawainese Oyster Mee Sua with Braised Pork Intestine. Noodles, a rich broth, chewy pork intestines, and ocean-fresh oysters - all combined into a perfect steaming bowl of perfection.

    For heartier dishes, we would recommend their Steamed Barramundi with Shimeji Mushrooms in Hong Kong Sauce and Claypot Sauteed String Beans with Pork Intestines. The shimeji mushrooms bring a lovely crunch to firm and juicy Barramundi meat whilst the pork intestines add a delicious texture to the crunchy string beans. Our favourite way is to order them together along with a delicious steaming plate of Panko Canadian Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice to share.

    And last but not least, indulge yourselves with a beautiful plate of Souffle Stackers with Berry Ice Cream and Strawberry Cheese Sauce for a visually appealing yet delightfully sweet end to your meal. (Jan 2022)
