    Me & overseas friend chose to sit outdoor for the Orchard Rd view, we like that it’s windy, cool & empty at that time.. Food is way too overpriced for the quality & taste! And there’s a weird smell from my plate of roasted chicken leg, reminds me of “food not freshly prepared & just heated up” kind of smell, quite disappointing. Also shortage of staff & server, only has 2 staffs working, we have to walk indoor to get staff’s assistance, not very pleasant experience..

    Description

    Knock yourself out on a spread of wholesome café nosh at The Providore. The establishment's dedication to serving up good food is apparent from the start - one bite and you're sure to be hooked. Its creations are lovingly made with fresh seasonal ingredients, and it shows.

    When at the café, be sure to try the Crab Linguini Pasta, an absolutely divine option made with sundried tomato, bird's eye chili, and fresh basil - cooked to al dente perfection, this is one pasta dish you won't be soon forgetting. The Pan Seared Barramundi is another must-have, with its accompanying Mexican rice, home-made corn tortillas and guacamole. If you're there for breakfast, however, then you can't go wrong with their signature Ricotta Pancakes, which comes with caramelised banana, candied walnuts, and sugar syrup. The Providore does a particularly fragrant latte too, if you're looking for a coffee on the side.
