    Not a place to have a good catch up. Got kicked out by 3pm. Book lunch early. Food is so so. Desserts not bad.

    The french onion soup and signature chicken were good, as were the desserts (Strawberries and cream & Creme Brulee). The manager gave us complimentary chocolate mousse which was excellent as well. The duck confit was a little disapppointing, was a tad hard and dry. Also had the tomahawk - felt that it could have been more flavourful. Overall service was very good.

    Not a great start it has to be said with a somewhat rude welcome....I said " I have a reservation " and was greeted by a rather curt "Name ?" .... However this was clearly a blip ...the rest of the service was good and the food excellent. ...will need to go back and try the chicken as we couldn't wait 40 minutes for tbe next batch to be ready ...on the whole a positive experience
