    Owned by the renowned JAG restaurants group and helmed by veteran restaurateur Anant Tyagi alongside Michelin-star chef Jeremy Gillon, diners can expect an experience unlike any other at this cosy watering hole. Tucked away on Duxton Road on the second floor of a restored shophouse, The Lounge Bar serves up delicious drinks inspired by central European tipples. Decorated with plush armchairs and wood accents, the bar gives off prohibition-era vibes, and is the perfect place for a post-work drink.

    The artisanal cocktails here are a must-try. The Angelique is notable for its light flavour accented by the addition of Chita Suntory Whisky. For something a little stronger, try the Aperol-infused Agastache flavoured with Peruvian Pisco. This is a strong drink with a robust flavour that will leave you sipping on the dregs.

    Feeling peckish? The kitchen serves up some traditional French bites that pair perfectly with the drinks. Try the delectable Croque Monsieur. Made with gooey melted cheese and rich ham sandwiched between two slices of soft bread, this is the perfect option for diners looking for something substantial. The Croque Salmon offers a similar option made with salmon instead of ham. The flavour of the fish pairs well with the other ingredients for a unique taste. (March 2019)
