    Description

    The Garden Slug is one of Singapore’s longest-standing thematic restaurants.

    Back in 2006, before the age of smartphones and the term “foodporn” came into being, TGS was birthed by two unlikely friends: a creative eccentric and a dreamy nerd.

    Situated in the tranquil, suburban east-side neighbourhood of Telok Kurau, TGS was one of the few pioneers of the first wave café scene, set out to bring to the Singapore food scene the kind of dining experience we’d always wanted - hearty and rustic food, big portions, and most importantly - service from the heart.

    Our love for animals also means that TGS will always be a pet-friendly place. We now have al fresco as well as air-conditioned seating for guests with pets.

    We serve slow food - where almost everything is made fresh, by hand, from scratch.

    Share a family-style meal, meet friends for happy hour, host a private event, or sit in a quiet corner with a good book.

    It’s always relaxed and casual at ours, no pretensions.
