    Description

    Our Story The Book Cafe had its genesis as the cafe of MPH Bookshop at Stamford Road. A standalone branch was opened at Martin Road in September 2000. It subsequently changed hands in a management buyout and has remained a family-owned establishment since.

    Over the years, it has morphed into a laid-back second living room for guests to browse books, magazines, and the www; chill on one of our comfy Chesterfield sofas; eat comfort food you can count on; and drink coffee, tea, and other homemade thirst quenchers.

    In addition to our classic offerings, we are proud to serve homemade gelato, crafted with premium ingredients and a dash of creativity. Pair it with a freshly brewed espresso or enjoy it on its own for a delightful treat.

    Our all-day breakfast menu features favorites like fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, and avocado toast, perfect for any time of the day. Craving something more substantial Explore our selection of mains, including our crowd-favorite salmon noodle soup, rich and satisfying pastas, gourmet sandwiches, and tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs that are sure to impress.
