    We were set upstairs in an empty, quiet room. Asked for music and the guy turned on his cellphone. Other people finally came, but we all kind of looked at each other and like “this is odd”. 8pm Friday while downstairs was bustling. The food… ordered some pork and it was put on a grill that wasn’t yet hot. Plain pork no flavor - wife felt it was off. Kimchi stew tasted like spicy minestrone. I’m sorry, but I have nothing nice to say about this experience. Even the kimchi pancake was terrible - doughy and huge chunks of kimchi.

    Meats are good portion. Ordered the beef and pork sgd 128 set. The short ribs were chewy except for the meat nearer the bone. The pork belly v good. The spicy lettuce side dish was the bomb. The kimchi and potato salad were so meh, potato very dry and not flavorful, kimchi not fermented enough in my opinion. Fishcake strips too dry. Army stew was good but honestly the stews are a tad pricey. The fried chicken sweet spicy was really crispy and delish. Atmosphere wise, music was blasting but the staff kindly lowered it without a problem. Aircon could be stronger. Sadly no free water. Ordered barley tea which was sgd4 per carafe. Value for money wise i would say hit or miss depending on the food ordered.
