    Did not have the opportunity to be inside the restaurant. There was no table for us even though we had make an advanced reservation. The place was full and the staffs were unable to do anything about it. It’s just a waste of time.

    The food and environment were both good, and we were informed that the dining time was 1.5 hours. It took about 25 minutes for all the dishes to be served. However, before the 1.5-hour limit was up, we were urged twice to finish our meal quickly because the customers outside were getting very impatient. But there were still 20 minutes left in our allotted time, and we had not exceeded it. As a result, we had to rush through our meal, which made the overall dining experience unpleasant.

    Description

    TAAN IZA-BAR takes after the spirit of izakaya in Japan. The décor is not your typical izakaya but of an artistic impression from a local artist. The mood of the place is divided into 2; Japanese theme which has the rugged wall mural depicting the ‘yokocho’ (small alley) in Tokyo and individual modern art piece handmade with copper. Similarly, the menu design was specially crafted with interesting izakaya dishes which complements well with drinks. There are also popular dishes meant for dining with friends and families.
