    Dear Restaurant Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during our lunch today. I inquired about the 30% UOB Privilege Banking promotion to better understand its terms and eligibility. The senior waitress who attended to us, a lady with short hair, responded in a manner that I found abit rude, Instead of politely explaining the promotion, she raised her voice and spoke to us in a way that made us feel uncomfortable. As customers, we believe it is reasonable to ask questions about promotions before placing an order. The rest of the waitress were servicing us with a good manner and very polite. Food is also awesome. Thank you for taking this feedback for improvement

    Very bad service on Mother’s Day. Manager and staff were not helpful in giving recommendations and missed out some of our orders and didn’t even apologise…

    The food is great but service was very pool. It seems there is shortage of staff. We had to call them few times in order to order and chased them few times and had to go to cashier on our own to pay the bill. The dessert was serviced before table was cleared. Staff are not patient at all. Will not go back if the service level remains.

    Having first opened its doors in 1996, Si Chuan Dou Hua is no stranger to anyone serious about Chinese food. A wide array of authentic Sichuan and Cantonese fare is offered here, with a menu that stretches more than 30 pages long. Yet, quality is not compromised, and every dish boasts nuanced flavours that will tinkle with your taste buds.

    Contrary to popular belief, Sichuan cuisine isn't defined by a fiery spiciness that requires a glass of water nearby at all times. We are major fans of their Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Expect dishes like the Marinated Black Chinese Fungus with Preserved Chilli, the Braised Sea Cucumber in Sichuan Bean Paste, and the delicate Boiled Sliced Fish in Sichuan Pepper Sauce to blow you away with their smorgasbord of robust flavours.

    Their Cantonese classics are similarly executed with finesse. The highlight is undoubtedly the dim sum here where diners are treated with an eclectic mix of old favourites and innovative creations, but double-boiled soups like the Chicken Soup with "Lingzhi" and dishes such as the Braised Seafood Treasures with Sliced Abalone warrant a return trip.
