    Description

    "Oberstrasse" is a common street name in German-speaking towns, and is also the street in Switzerland on which the cafe's owner met his first and only girlfriend. It's no surprise that he aims to recreate that nostalgic feeling through this quaint, warmly-lit cafe. But it isn't all just sentiment though — the food served here packs a punch too.

    A good selection of Western appetisers, mains, and pastas are available, with a section of the menu dedicated to Rosti. We recommend the hearty Crispy Duck Confit with Lingonberry Sauce on days you're feeling ravenous, or the Crabmeat Arrabiatta for when you need a bowl of comfort food. The Farmer's Rosti, that comes with a veal bratwurst and sunny-side up, is also not to be missed.

    With brunch as Oberstrasse’s speciality, you’ll be pleased to know that you can enjoy these staples at dinner, too. The Instagram-worthy Brioche French Toast tastes as good as it looks, with homemade jam, Mascarpone cheese and maple granola atop buttery slices of toast. For something more substantial, go for the German Breakfast that comes with a pretzel, eggs, ham, sausages, and more.
