    Very good vegetarian option in city. Will surely visit again. Enjoyable south and northe indian dishes. One suggestion is to serve masala tea in a pot for guests who like to share after a heavy meal.

Set up in 2009 by two old friends who were dissatisfied with the then-available options for Indian cuisine, Nalan Restaurant (City Hall) has blossomed into a gem that spins out authentic Indian vegetarian fare meticulously prepared with traditional cooking methods-- no doubt the reason for their impressive pool of loyal patrons who return for a heartwarming taste of home-cooked food.

    Nalan’s dedication to their customers is clearly evident in their ability to cater to traditional Jain diets. Dishes without onion and garlic, such as Palak Paneer and Sbji Diwani-hundi, are commonplace and should you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, Nalan’s skilled chefs are more than happy to whip something up for you without sacrificing taste or quality.

    The menu also features an impressive range of options from all across India. We are major fans of the Paneer Butter Masala, featuring satisfying cottage cheese cubes drenched in a creamy sauce of tomato and butter. Tip: soak up every last drop of goodness with some naan. If you’re looking for some Western fare, Nalan’s got you covered too, with exciting options like the Asparagus and Baby Bella salad and the Rigatoni with Broccoli, Walnuts and Ricotta.
