    Before moving to 103 Amoy Street, MOONSTONE was birthed at 21 Moonstone Lane, Unit 09-01, Poh Leng Building, beside the hot pink temple.

    Uncle Jem found this listing as Ms Yangermeister wanted a studio to paint. It had a great vibe — kinda rabs but a lot of damn potential. “Just like us,” we hoped.

    Sadly, it was too big for Yangzo alone. So Yanger pulled in her bestiepal Rellies. They thought, “I don’t care what it is, but we want this space.”

    How to make money to sustain art? That is always the question.

    The space was originally held by Bruno’s Catering and Cafeteria, and they held an existing beer license.

    Based on a good feeling (on which all the best business decisions are made, of course), as true business entrepreneurs, we thought, “make bar loh.”

    And… MOONSTONE was born! An art studio and creative space by day, alcoholic and degenerate refuge by night. (May 2026)
