    Description

Miyu is a Japanese omakase restaurant tucked away in a shophouse on Duxton Road. Helmed by executive chef Ng Kam Kwan, who’s trained in the kitchen of some of Singapore’s most highly-acclaimed restaurants, it’s a great place to get a taste of Japan.

During lunch, the menu is casual, offering a variety of sets that come with appetisers, soup, a main dish, and dessert. The Bara Chirashi set is a favourite among sashimi fans. For something more indulgent and tuna lovers, go for the Otoro Chirashi Don set which is the fattiest portion of the Japanese Bluefin Tuna and can literally melt in your mouth.

During dinner, full-course omakase sets are the stars of the show, with each set having no less than seven courses. Dishes change regularly according to the season and the chef's preference, but you can look forward to fresh air-flown sashimi, sushi, donburis, cooked dishes, dessert, and more. Dinner sets are also available upon request during lunch, so die-hard omakase fans can get their fix at any time of the day. (Oct 2020)
