    food was amazing, table staff was to much in our face, just leave us enjoy our night and not come over to the table every 5 mins to see if everything is ok, we will tell you if we have a problem, or we need something

    Lovely restaurant, great staff, friendly. Environment beautiful but noisy as no sound dampening on the bare concrete walls and glass windows when full house. Good for social gathering but challenging if having business meeting.

    Description

    Founded in 2003 by the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU), Lighthouse Bistro is the social arm of SMOU to add value to the maritime community at large by serving as a regular meeting place for SMOU members, the shipping community and beyond. It offers a semi-fine dining experience at the price of a bistro.

    Located a stone’s throw away from Lavender MRT and diagonally opposite V Hotel, Lighthouse Bistro plays host to senior residents from Jalan Besar and various community homes annually during Lunar New Year celebrations. The residents enjoy some light-hearted entertainment and festive delicacies whipped up by the Bistro’s kitchen. Besides reaching out to the community, it also caters free meals to stranded seamen.

    Using only the freshest and quality ingredients is key to our recipes. We like to be creative in fusing different cultural dishes into popular Western delights. With continual efforts, we are committed to deliver the very best to all our diners. (Jul 2025)
