    Description

In a city that loves polish, LaPasta keeps things a little rough around the edges. Tucked inside the once-notorious Orchard Towers, this small 15-seat spot feels like a well-kept secret. The space is tight and low-lit, but the energy is warm and confident.

The focus is handmade pasta done with care. Their rigatoni in crab pink sauce is rich without being heavy, with a gentle balance of sweetness and salt. Their carbonara skips cream and leans on egg and guanciale, coming out silky and full of flavour. Then there is the surprise hit: fried chicken. It is crisp, light, and juicy enough to steal the spotlight.

LaPasta succeeds by keeping things simple. The menu is short, the cooking is precise, and every dish shines. In a neighborhood rewriting its story, this is food that does the same, honest, a little scrappy, and entirely worth the detour. (Apr 2026)
