    Description

While its humble origins can be traced back to 2014, it was only in 2016 that Kappou was born from the entrepreneurial vision of Chef Aeron. Today, it is a modern ode to Japanese heritage, infused with the contemporary repose of a speakeasy.

Kappou’s dining philosophy of ritual meets art is evident everywhere you look. Chef Aeron’s artistic flair extends beyond the kitchen to the counter where diners can expect tableware to be more than a blank slate for each Omakase course to shine.

Custom curated and crafted for each dish, every little detail from tableware to glassware has been considered to bring out the unique culinary narrative of Chef Aeron. The extensive menu at Kappou is a showcase of seasonal ingredients, prepared with time-honoured Japanese techniques and finished with flavours of a forward palate.

Like the ingredients carefully selected for your meal, we source for artisanal beverages that are true to their origin, and reflective of the environment they have been made. From grower’s Champagne and small production wine, to specially crafted Sake and spirits, allow perfect parings to create a dining experience greater than the sum of all its parts. (Aug 2022)
