    Food was good taste-wise but portions a little on the small side. Shared 2 mains with my hubby and was disappointed that the duck dish was not much. Cocktails were interesting. Did not like the table location at all. Was next to the escalator, so sort of outside the restaurant. Passers-by could look at you and your dinner, like an exhibit in the zoo. Would have preferred a more exclusive and private ambiance, especially if you were a couple. Perhaps more suited to a rowdy or drinking group. Service was a hit and miss - one waiter was friendly and interactive, while others were just functional.

    Had to wait for service. Had to wait for water etc. Bread , appetizer, wagyu pasta are all served cold! Its bad! I had great expectations of Hopscotch as my first visit to the place is satisfactory. Guess I will not patronize the place again.

    Description

    The Capitol Arcade location is perhaps Hopscotch’s most iconic home so far. Located right outside the historic Capitol Theatre, Hopscotch once again finds itself close to the arts – a place with almost a century worth. After its revamp in 2015, the immediate area surrounding Capitol Theatre was transformed into the picturesque sunlit atrium where Hopscotch (Capitol) nests at today, “Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski”.

    The fully air-conditioned atrium exudes old world charm reminiscent of Colonial era streets with modern expression, a fascinating amalgamation of the old and new. Being located at City hall also offers much accessibility, a convenience that our original 28 Maxwell location once had. To us, this is the perfect space for merry men, lively crowds, and vibrant atmosphere, the perfect place to host guests. (Mar 2021)
