    An impromptu late dinner with a good friend and we found ourselves at Ginger.Lily. The mains were amazing, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Lamb was juicy, tender paired with really neat potato mash and red wine sauce. The black was splendid with crispy and chewy rice cake and beautiful spice glaze that kind of tastes like Lao Gan Ma chili peanuts but elevated. My friend’s sparkling tea was refreshing, but I was disappointed with their version of Virgin Bloody Mary, which was extremely bland (as compared to what one would expect a very savory version typically known). The cheeseboard was okay, lovely companions of fruits and nuts, but the cheeses selection and portions were pretty sad and the water crackers were softer than desired (definitely not the fresh crisp texture you would expect from a newly opened pack). The place is super chill and quiet, perfect for catch up and long chat with friends. It is also great to have a good dinner after a long day, as it open late too!

    The high tea set has too many or too big serve of sweet pieces. Will be better balance with more savouries . Pastry is not well made but the fillings taste good

    Set within Ginger.Lily's conservatory-inspired lounge, A Seasonal Chapter of Unexpected Pairings reimagines Ginger.Lily's Botanical Afternoon Tea through the lens of Shisen Hanten's Chūka Szechwan Ryori, where bold flavour meets botanical elegance.

    Menu highlights include: 
    •Duo of Duck, Sablé — foie gras and Zhangcha duck (a tea-smoked Szechwan specialty) with whisky and Shaoxing-infused fig compote.
    •Pecan 'Ma Lai Gao' — an elevation of the classic Cantonese steamed cake.
    •Matcha Ichigo Daifuku — made with house-made mochi.
