    Overpriced for poor quality sushi - salmon was too chewy and otoro was indistinguishable to other tuna. For Sukiyaki, instead of properly cooking by first searing the beef first in the pan, then adding the warishita sauce and then adding vegetables and tofu around it, they just boil the sauce first like a soup and then put all the vegetables into it. And they don’t even cook jt foe the customers

    Fat Cow (À La Carte / Set Lunch) is an award-winning modern fine-dining Japanese restaurant by Commonwealth Concepts, it has received ‘Best Japanese Restaurant Fine Dining’ Award at the RAS Epicurean Star Awards in 2019 and Chope Diner’s Choice ‘Best Restaurant of The Year” Award for four years (2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022).

    Opened in 2011, its calm interior is founded in the concept of wabi-sabi – the art of finding beauty in things modest, simple and humble. At the eight seater omakase counter, the Chef's Table brings a contemporary and creative approach to seasonal fresh produce. Fat Cow is led by veteran Tokyo-born Chef Shingo Lijima.

    The luxurious Japanese restaurant serves an extensive handpicked selection of finest Wagyu from reputable farms in Japan. For a customised experience, you can enjoy Wagyu prepared in various Japanese methods such as Shabu-Shabu or Sukiyaki. They also have two omakase menus, Chef’s Table Omakase for a mix of both Wagyu and seafood omakase and the signature Wagyu Omakase which offers more Wagyu options for the meat lovers. (Apr 2023)
