    Although very busy, staff were friendly, efficient, good service. The appetisers very yummy, seafood pancake and sundubu is nice, bingsu dessert also good. Will visit again

    Opening its doors on the quiet residential area of Indus Road last December 2024, Cafe Light House has become the talk of the town as it started serving homemade Korean meals inspired by the owner’s original recipes. It was started by a warm-hearted family from Seoul, South Korea who moved in Singapore a few years ago. The name “Light House” was apparently birthed from the family’s mantra of “filling our house with light and brightness”.

    Now offering a wide range of must-have Korean menu (plus a bunch of free banchan), Cafe Light House is most famous for it’s bestsellers including kimbap, beef bulgogi and tofu kimchi jjigae. Each plate and every bowl come with comfort from the hands of the “Ajumma” who holds it all together in her kitchen, making sure they have the best quality of local ingredients. In less than a year, this new Seoul-ful spot has gained repeat customers and earned positive reviews. One of the most significant online features of the restaurant was published by a well-known Singapore food blogger and content creator, DanielFoodDiary.com who visited in February this year. After being featured, the team has started receiving advanced online reservations and private event inquiries which are all accommodated well by the Cafe Light House’s growing family.

    As of today, the crowd’s classic favorites remain the same including the recently added Jeon or Korean pancakes. Each month, a new menu is being introduced as this family restaurant aims to cater all the Korean cravings of its customers of all ages.
