BARREL STORY OF HIBIKI

Great warmth and hospitality from Kartik. He shared the story of how Barrel started, brought us on a tour of the restaurant as well as the accompanying private dining area, bar and terrace. Great service all around and the food was above par as expected of Chef Melvin. Hokkaido milk ice cream drowned in Hibiki infused honey was the winner of the night for me! Loved the attention to detail in terms of the interior which was supposed to simulate the inside of an oak barrel. Looks like there will be many more visits to the restaurant in the future!
