    Description

    A chance encounter, a profound love for food, and oodles of ambition is the magic behind The Tipsy Penguin. Opened by food and beverage specialist Derek Ong, this spot is truly a labour of love. Co-Op chef Janan has a passion for handmade pasta, and head chef Jeff Villaflor has over 10 years of culinary experience under his belt.

    The love for food can really be seen in the menu items, which showcases the best of fresh ingredients. The Oysters here are delicious, and the addition of alcohol to the freshly shucked oysters brings out the briny taste and adds an unexpected touch of sweetness to the flavour. For something a little heartier, opt for the crowd favourite; Fish & Chips. The pastas are also freshly made in-house, and is served with crispy fried squid, which give the dish a unique salty crunch.

    With an interior that is in equal parts modern and industrial, as well as a menu bursting with unique items, this spot is set to be the new culinary hotspot of the East. Located conveniently opposite Tampines Hub, and with a range of fun activities to engage in at the restaurant itself, like arcade games and a pinball machine this spot aims to create memorable and exciting experiences for all diners.
