    (Forgot to ask for his name) but he was amazing - not only did he provide a complimentary dessert for our birthday request but even waived off our Japanese tea pot as a bonus 🥰 His service was impeccable too, refilling our tea pot at every subtle indication. 👏

    Opened in 2022 by a group of crypto investors, Saketoshi is a modern izakaya proffering delectable Japanese bar bites and a huge assortment of sake from different regions of Japan. The sake bar’s name is a witty play on the pseudonym for the elusive Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto.

    Residing within UE Square Shopping Mall, Saketoshi exudes an aesthetic that echoes the vibes of a modern izakaya. It boasts an alfresco dining area for guests looking to enjoy sake outdoors within the Central Business District at night.

    The modern izakaya’s donburi (Japanese rice bowls) are equally hearty. Its Seafood Donburi comes brimming with slices of umami, pan-seared scallops, and sweet prawns, while the Aburi Engawa Donburi features a flame-seared halibut fin atop Japanese pickles, ikura and pickled ginger.
