    The name NUMB川麻记 is inspired by the sensation of ma (麻) in mala (麻辣), a unique palate experience enabled by traditional Chinese Sichuan cooking styles. In Sichuan dialect, ‘numb’ (喝麻) also means the state of being tipsy.
