    Very nice Japanese food, especially the aburi sushi platter. Friendly professional staff and clean environment. Really good Japanese food. They even have a private room with about 10 seats.

    Description

    A Japanese restaurant serving classic and modern interpretations of traditional Kyoto kaiseki cuisine, Nozomi (The Star Vista) aims to curate and execute a menu that provides quality meals to customers at affordable prices.

    Flown straight from Japan’s Toyosu Market twice a week, the restaurant’s seasonal sashimi is fresh from the ocean. Prepared in true “kaiseki ryori” fashion, the dishes are cooked using a myriad of different cooking methodologies. Available in Salmon and Ikura or Sakura Ebi, the Japanese Claypot Rice features fluffy white rice steamed in dashi stock with a hint of savoury sakura ebi and light soy seasoning blended together for a refined flavour. Pair with a side of Pork Kakuni, where braised pork belly is drizzled with the restaurant’s in-house concocted sauce. Other ala carte options include the Unagi Kabayaki, Oden, Nankotsu Karaage and Mentaiko Cheese Balls.

    Pocket-friendly bento sets are also available in a range of options. Served with salad and miso soup, Yoshi’s Signatures are also a must-try at this authentic Japanese restaurant. (May 2021)
