We booked the afternoon hi tea. Booked under Chope and needed a $20 per pax reservation fee to secure. The external entrance was different from the online pictures. It was not as big and next to a construction site. We were lucky to find a URA carpark lot nearby. The decor was unique and grand. We were the only ones and had the whole brasserie to ourselves. We enjoyed the ambience and the good service by Jean our server. The only downside was the quality and variety of the food which were all sweets. It would be nice if we could have a mixture of savouries as well. After we were done, we were pleasantly surprised when another staff Mo took us on a tour of the whole downstairs hotel and other restaurants and even told us about the hotel’s history. All beautifully decorated and we took many photos. The other restaurants and study areas were cosy and private. Should we have any special occasions and needed a place to celebrate, we will consider here.

Cosy environment, friendly server, though a bit short-staffed. The savoury options for the Afternoon tea were yummy; would love to have more of the mini burger. Generous portions of the sweet. Cream for the scones a tad too airy - not our favourite. Scones a bit crunchy, prefer softer ones. Recommend going for the cocktail pairing - good value
