    This restaurant has the promises of being great and it stops there. It was clear from the outset that priority service was given to those staying at the hotel vs visitors. We were seated at 7:30pm, It wasnt very busy yet it took 30 mins to take our order. Our main course didnt arrive until after 9pm after another 30+ minutes wait after finishing our appetizers. Turns out our mains (jasmine rice and stir fried veg) which only takes 4 minutes to make was delivered to the wrong table! Service needs addressing too many people standing around following each other! And had to keep flagging down servers for attention. The only redemption was that the food was good and recovered by an additional 10% discount on top of my Bonvoy discount when i refused to pay the 7% service charge (which wasnt waived) Only dine here if you are staying at the Renaissance otherwise there are much better eateries around Mai Khao
