      Description

      Our Menu

Each menu at Water Library is created with passion and determination. Outstanding with French cooking techniques that blend the flavors of an Asian twist.

Listed on the Michelin Guide, this swish modern European restaurant merges continental classics with Asian touches and gorgeous Thai ingredients for one of the most sophisticated meals in the city. These are some of Bangkok’s prettiest plates, served in an equally beautiful dining room drenched in natural daylight and outfitted with a minimalist-chic look. The kitchen is helmed by German-born chef Mirco Keller, who weaves magic with the simplest of ingredients.

Open your meal with the startling simplicity of seafood crudo, with plates like maddeningly sweet Japanese Botan Ebi served with smoked eel and caviar, or Canadian Scallops given a Thai kiss of coriander, coconut, pomelo, and citrus. Continue with one of their almost too-pretty-to-eat mains like the Bresse Pigeon, rosy pink game bird served with Thai spinach and a rich jus enriched with Provençal herbs. The Wagyu Beef Tenderloin is no run of the mill number, served here in an elegant deconstructed Japanese style with daikon, savoury dashi, and mustard seeds. For seafood, get the king of Japanese fish, the Kinmedai, or golden eye snapper, served here with earthy Jerusalem artichoke and a punchy sauce ravigote. Dessert is a simple French affair, but exquisitely executed: a classic Tarte Tartin with ice cream or a sesame parfait topped with tangy starfruit to close a meal of perfectly paired flavours.
