Raffles Jakarta's charcoal-inspired, the dining experience is back to The Dining Room for a limited time only due to popular demand.
Charcoal by TDR is an open kitchen concept serving charcoal-grilled flavors and smoky cocktails. Spacious seating overlooking the city skyline, following the latest ALLSafe health and safety standards.
The menu is created by Argentinian Executive Chef Matias Ayala, which he uses different charcoals to bring out the best flavors of premium meats, seafood, and vegetables.

Expect a leisurely Charcoal Brunch every Sunday, 11.30am at Raffles Club. Raffles Club adds a new dimension to the guest experience. Located here on the private access 12th floor, it is an exclusive sanctuary in the heart of the city, redefining luxury for the well-traveled guests staying in Jakarta.
The brunch concept is a family-style curated Charcoal by TDR set menu, starting with a fine selection of eggs and appetizer that include Kogi beefsteak with the egg along and Yukhoe Korean Tuna Tartare follows with the restaurant's lavish array of the main entrée such as Charcoal classic smoked ricotta tortellini and 48-hour sous vide wagyu beef with tableside service.
The menu is paired with smoky concoctions such as the "Carbontini" using charcoal smoked vodka, or the "Wagyu Old Fashioned" which features a wagyu infused bourbon.

“The Dining Room”, or TDR, was launched by Raffles Jakarta in September 2019. TDR is an innovative concept, which highlights a fully integrated show kitchen and a sophisticated main dining area with a view.
As part of its launching momentum, The Dining Room presented a line-up of restaurant takeovers, guest chefs collaborations, and culinary events every month for guests to experience.
The debut event in September started with a Restaurant Takeover with Chef Ton from Le Du, Bangkok. The culinary adventure soon followed by famous restaurant and Michelin starred chefs namely, 3 Michelin star, Chef Julien Royer from Odette, Singapore, Chef Kirk Westaway from JAAN, Singapore, Chef Richie Lin from MUME are just some of the headlines last year as The Dining Room also plays host to the famous Wagyu Mafia Hong Kong.
