One of the most creative and well-loved buffet restaurants in the city, it's located on the 51st floor of The Westin Jakarta, a luxurious hotel.

As soon as you enter Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Jakarta, you’re welcomed by a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Located on the 51st floor, you’ll be able to view the surrounding skyline which never fails to bring out the urban charm of the concrete jungle. Enjoy scenic views from their wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows, or check out their open kitchens as they set the stage for a dynamic dining experience. The interior’s combination of art deco elements, mid-century furnishings, and local aesthetics mirror the menu’s eclectic offerings. We love the Batik Kawung-patterned marble floors, ikat steel chandeliers, and the vertical botanical garden.

Opening hours and availability

Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Jakarta serves breakfast until 11am everyday. After 11am during weekdays, they have lunch and dinner buffets available as well as other food items from their regular menu, like steaks or pasta dishes. However, regular menus are only available after 4pm Monday to Friday. Weekends at Seasonal Tastes At The Westin Jakarta starts from 10am, so get up early and indulge in a brunch buffet!

Seasonal Taste Buffet and Menu

Featuring six interactive cooking stations, the buffet menu is made for a variety of palates and tastes. Each station is manned by experts dedicated to authentic Indonesian cuisine, Japanese sushi and sashimi, Indian cuisine, grilled specialties, and many more. Start your buffet journey at the salad bar, filled with fresh and nutritious options. Enjoy a huge choice of salad bases, proteins, and condiments such as salmon, prawns, Asian-style chicken, edamame, nuts, crackers, and finely chopped vegetables.

An example of a local highlight is their Buntut Bakar. A must-have in Indonesia, the grilled oxtail is marinated in a sweet soy sauce, enjoyed with the oxtail broth, sambal balado, steamed rice, and emping. Another Indonesian classic is the Gado Gado, a vegetable salad with bite-sized cuts of tofu, tempe, egg, and emping, drenched in a savoury peanut sauce. The great thing about their selection? Whether you’re a vegetarian, pescetarian, or avoid beef, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Make sure you save some room for dessert and gobble up delectable sweets, from French pastries and traditional Indonesian pancake Martabak Manis, to four types of fondue and ice cream teppanyaki. The menus also offer different themes every month such as Mexican Day, featuring tacos & nachos, or Asian Night, where they serve sushi rolls instead!
