very nice restaurant. feels like you are in japan. feels like a family place but also can be a bar at night. food is very authentic recipes and ingredients that are very japanese or very close to the authentic taste of japan. japanese owners too. they have izakaya and warayaki very unique selection of items. also delicious steak!

The typical of authentic Japanese restaurant where there are bar and private dining area. Their signature menu is Kamo Shabu-Shabu Kyoto which you can't miss for sure! A simple yet warm dish with tasty duck taste. I really like their Aigamo Roast Duck Loin, their tender and delicous duck skewer that is recommended! Recently, their karaage made with a recipe from Hokkaido has become their highlight menu item. We tried the Ginger Shoyu Karaage, and it was delicious! The chicken was thick, tender, and less oily! Some of the women staff here wear kimono. They are so friendly and helpful, too. I knew about Kinshamo from a Japanese expat friend who recommended this one. Totally recommended! 😊
