    I just don’t understand a restaurant that expect customers to spend Rp.250.000-800.000,- for a dish…..but uses cheap paper napkin on the table !!?? No red wine by the glass.

    pity the staff who tried their best to please and serve. Our saga tonight, our first visit, started badly when they told us that their entire range of 4 or 5 by-the-glasIs red wine on their menu was out of stock. When we said that this was unacceptable for an upmarket restaurant, the floor manager finally produced a bottle that he could pour into by-the-glass servings. Food - the carbonara we ordered was too dry and had to ask the waiter to get the chef to add some cream to it. The spaghetti bologna was OK, but both dishes was nothing to write home about. Neither was the Caesar salad. Ambiance - like many South Jakarta restaurants it looks cool and hip, but also oozed the pretentiousness of many of the area's nightspots. The floor manager had the presence of mind to give us a complimentary dessert to make up for the shortcomings though and that was a right move.
