    Owners was nice but has no control over his chef. Pan seared Foie Gras was burnt twice. I would not go here again even though the Beef Wellington was good

    Love this place. I come here often for one reason, the baguette bread. It has an amazing taste. With blue cheese or tartare de boeuf, it mixes perfectly. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

    French cuisine has an infamous rep for its difficulty to execute and for good reason but JP French Restaurant throws all our assumptions out of the window with authentic French classics that would make you think you were in a Michelin-starred establishment in Paris. The posh yet charming interior fits the part while the attentive service provided by the owner and his staff only makes the experience more pleasant than it already is. No wonder the restaurant has made quite the splash in Bangkok’s culinary scene since its opening in 2010.

    Classics such as Tartare de Boeuf, Boeuf en Croûte, and the Escargots are done flawlessly. The fresh, high-quality produce also take centerstage in each of these dishes, particularly Australian beef which is much more suited for French cuisine compared to local beef. An impressive wine list elevates the experience. So whether it’s a romantic date, a birthday celebration, or just a meal after work, JP deserves a top spot on your list of go-to establishments.
