Description
CHESA Swiss Restaurant is located in a refurbished teak house just opposite the Windsor Hotel. Come here for authentic Swiss appetisers, mains, and desserts.
Start with a selection of hot and cold plates, such as the Chesa Hors D'oeuvre Teller (assorted antipasto), and the Capuns Auf Chesa Art (Swiss chard dumplings). For mains, classics include the Wienerschnitzel Mit Pommes Frites, breaded pork escalope with fries, and the Bratwurst Mit Zwiebelsauce, a grilled veal sausage with Rösti. There is also a good selection of char-grilled meats to satisfy the carnivores out there.
No visit to a Swiss restaurant is complete without a hearty fondue, and CHESA Swiss' variety certainly does not disappoint, with no less than seven types available. You'll be sent to cheese heaven as you dip skewers of meat and veggies into oozy melted cheese.
End your meal on a sweet note with a decadent array of desserts like Vermicelle Mit Kirsch, chestnut puree with meringue, ice cream, and whipped cream, and the Crêpes Suzette. (Dec 2019)
