    Description

Zao’ – searching for good ingredients to create unique and delicious dishes As for the meaning of the restaurant's name, Eve explained that 'Zao' in the Isaan dialect means to pick up or search for something. Therefore, the concept of the restaurant reflects the idea of searching for good quality ingredients in every season to create unique Isaan dishes for everyone to try.

"'Zao' actually has many meanings. Most people may think it means 'twenty,' but the meaning of our restaurant comes from when we were children. When we were hungry, we would tell Grandma Jui to find some food for us. She would reply, 'Let me go 'zao' (search) and see if there's anything to eat.' It’s like going to find something to see what ingredients are available to make us something to eat. Grandma Jui also liked to say 'zao rice' and 'zao water.' So, I felt that the word 'zao' sounded cute and was easy to remember, which is why we decided to name the restaurant after it to reflect the idea of searching for good ingredients
