    Description

Awarded a Michelin Plate and lauded by the Michelin Guide Bangkok 2018 and 2019, Yamazato is a high-rise restaurant in the Okura Prestige Bangkok. This restaurant serves fine Japanese food made with premium ingredients, and everything has been chosen to treat your senses - from the folds in the ceiling that mimic origami, to the warm wood of the interior that is a nod to Tatami mats in traditional Japanese homes.

Craving something hearty? The Teppanyaki options have got you covered. There are live Teppanyaki tables at this restaurant that allow you to choose between grilled and broiled meat. The live aspect of these tables means that diners get to watch the skilled chefs prepare their meals in person.

There are also sushi masters who recreate dishes from Japan using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and fish sourced directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu market. Barflies will be delighted to know that Yamazato boasts one of the most diverse Sake lists in Japan, with a selection covering almost every region of the country. All sushi dishes come with freshly grated wasabi and various other traditional Japanese condiments. (May 2019)
