Charlie’s by Tongpeng: Modern Chinese Cuisine

Charlie’s by Tongpeng is a modern Chinese restaurant specializing in Teochew and Cantonese-style dishes, and every item on the menu is absolutely delicious!
This restaurant is the new brand extension of “Tongpeng” or “Ped Yang Chokchai 4” (Chokchai 4 Roast Duck), which is currently very popular.

The new location is pinned at the Seekers Finders Hotel, Rama IV.
The original “Tongpeng” or “Ped Yang Chokchai 4” is situated on the corner of Chokchai 4 Alley in the Ladprao area. Already famous for its Chinese cuisine and boasting a 40-year history, the family decided to launch this new brand to create a more modern look that appeals to a younger generation.
The restaurant is managed by Khun Charlie (Chavalit Trakulsantirat), the second-generation heir of Tongpeng.

Growing up in a Chinese family, he was immersed in Chinese traditions from a young age. He was trained to work in his parents' restaurant, Ped Yang Chokchai 4, which was later converted into a Chinese restaurant in 1989. As the eldest son, the name "Tongpeng" was adopted for the restaurant. After getting the opportunity to study in the United States, he opened two of his own restaurants in New York after graduation and lived there for nearly 20 years.
