    Plataran Menteng occupies a three-storey Dutch colonial house, each floor featuring a different theme of Indonesian-Dutch colonial architecture. The house was once owned by a legendary Indonesian-Chinese obstetrician, renowned for delivering many babies among Jakarta’s most prominent families, including the family of the late President Soeharto.
