    Description

Nestled away in the dusty streets of Jor Por Ror, Seven Spoons is a distinct change of pace and atmosphere from the frantic bustling outside. It’s chic, modern, laid back, and one of the best places in town to tuck into its unique brand of refined Mediterranean and Modern European comfort food with new-wave gourmet touches. Enjoy a mix of imported flavours and local ingredients sourced from Thai and regional farmers.

You don’t have to look further than their varied pasta menu to get a sense of the eclectic mix of flavours and textures here; casareccia pasta is tossed in a punchy gorgonzola and mushroom sauce and topped with buttery braised ox tongue, handmade ravioli stuffed with crab is lifted by a creamy peppercorn sauce made with pink peppercorns from Cambodia, and chewy rigatoni comes served in a piquant ragu of duck and sweet Thai peppers. The other mains here draw from all kinds of traditions but have one thing in common: deep comfort. Tender buckwheat blini is served with a mix of earthy lentils, spinach, and tangy yoghurt for a lux take on a rustic European classic, beef shank is given the Irish treatment and braised in stout made by local microbrewery Udomsuk, and glazed pork belly is given an Eastern-European meets Asian twist with a slaw of jicama and caraway seed. Simple, with an innovative range of dishes that look as good as they taste, Seven Spoons is all about tasty bistro goodness, a getaway in the middle of one of Bangkok’s busiest neighbourhoods.
