    Restaurant ac is hot and didn’t spare any consideration for dine-in guest. Price is what you pay and value is what you get. To me bad service is low value and not worth the price. They are not customer centric and staff lack knowledge and tack, rushing to close for lunch at 1.30pm for last order. Not worthy to be Amex dining partner. Won’t be going back and definitely not worthy of good rating. I hope they read and feedback.

    Here, tradition is not traded for innovation, but rather the two intertwine in every part of each experience. We firmly believe the peak seasonal ingredients that exist all over Japan through 4 seasons. We only use ingredients that we are thoroughly satisfied with each season.

    From Japan, we bring 100 years time trees which had been actually used. It is with great pride to reproduce Kyoto, Japan's authentic, time-honoured town-house (Machiya). If you would spend a moment of such time dining at GEN, we would be most pleased. (Apr 2021)
