Rumari introduces a new chapter in refined dining with Rumari Counter, an intimate culinary experience where artistry, spontaneity and personal connection take centre stage. Distinct from Rumari’s Steps Dinner and à la carte offerings, this Chef’s Table-style counter experience presents no predetermined menu. Instead, guests are invited to discover a daily surprise menu, thoughtfully curated by the culinary team and guided by the restaurant’s 80/20 philosophy—celebrating the finest seasonal ingredients while complementing them with carefully sourced produce from beyond the island. With ingredients and inspiration evolving each day, every visit to the Rumari Counter offers a different menu and a new culinary story.

Limited to just ten seats along the counter, the setting creates a sense of closeness between guest and chef. Each course is prepared, finished and plated before diners, offering a rare glimpse into the craftsmanship behind every dish. Conversations unfold naturally as the chefs share the inspiration behind the ingredients and techniques, transforming dinner into an engaging culinary dialogue.

To further enrich the journey, curated beverage pairings are available, thoughtfully selected to complement the evolving menu and enhance the flavours of each course.

Available Wednesday to Sunday, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the Rumari Counter experience is priced at IDR 3,000,000++ per person, including a welcome cocktail, coffee and tea. Rumari Counter accepts guests aged 12 years and above.

Rumari Counter is a ten-seat chef’s table where the evening unfolds dish by dish, guided by seasonality, provenance, and the Chef’s intuition. There is no printed menu and no set sequence to reveal. Instead, flavours are introduced in conversation — a moment of discovery shared across the counter, as ingredients from the archipelago meet technique and imagination.

Each service is shaped in real time. The narrative evolves with the catch, the harvest, and the ideas that animate the kitchen that day. Guests are invited to observe the plating, ask questions, and engage with the chefs, as the counter becomes both stage and dining room. Ten seats, countless stories, one unforgettable evening.
