The Chowk Indian Gourmet House (Museum Puri Lukisan Ubud)

I will not lie, the place looks gorgeous and I extremely appreciate the service from this lovely very professional Balinese woman who served us today I can’t remember her name now but she was extremely honest and nice, deserves a pay raise literally, she balanced our overall experience. Food was just average, Butter chicken sadly had too much cardamom in it which is not even a spice you should add, couldn’t taste any cashew or tomato or cinnamon, shahi paneer was not balanced and had extreme amount of whole spices in it, not edible but entrees were nice with balanced flavours and presentation specially Malai Chicken Tikka was great. Rest the Mains and breads were slightly below average. We had way more dishes because we just wanted to try different stuff. Overall I would rate the food 5/10 genuinely But a great venue, insane palace atmosphere
