Established around the idea of being a shared location for the community where food, drink and gossip simultaneously occurs, The Communal Place provides diners with the opportunity to unwind, relax and connect over delicious meals of family sized contemporary Western fusion food and great tasting cups of coffee in a relaxing environment.

Placing social interaction and the idea of family food sharing at the heart of what they do, The Communal Place takes a cue from the strong Peranakan and Eurasian heritage of the local areas and this is aptly reflected in their approach to style of food and portion. A highly recommended chef’s favourite is the Miso Salmon. Served alongside glazed vegetables and mash, the fresh salmon is pan-seared to perfection, making for mouthfuls of tender and juicy meat. For the brunch lovers, the restaurant has a specially curated all day brunch menu that indulges diners in pancakes and French Toast, all day every day.
