Start the meal on a high note with signature dishes such as the Crispy Tofu with Salad Sauce, where soft tofu is lightly-crumbed and fried to a delicious golden-brown.

Fish is a must-order at San Yuan Ge, where you pick from a selection of red snapper, red grouper, and dragon grouper. Savour your choice catch steamed Teochew-style, or in Chef’s special broth. For grilled fish, pick from sea bass or barramundi fillet. Popular sauce choices include a Chef Special Spicy Sauce tossed with dried chilli, soya bean, and peanut, as well as a Signature Assam Sauce to go with ladyfingers, pineapple, and onion. Besides seafood, San Yuan Ge also caters to meat lovers with speciality dishes such as Baked Coffee Pork Ribs with Sliced Almonds. The fork-tender ribs are perfumed with the aromatic scent of coffee, while the nutty slivers add some crunch to each bite. Wash it all down with cups of hot Chinese tea, or a mug of icy cold beer.
