    Nikka Whisky Dinner
    Masataka Taketsuru, the Father of Japanese whisky, was born into a sake brewing family in 1894. With a background in chemistry, he entered Settsu Shuzo Company, which sent him to Scotland to learn whisky making in 1918. Masataka fell in love with whisky there and decided to dedicate his life to it. 

    Behind every Nikka whisky, there are two distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. These two exceptional sites reflect Nikka's know-how and perfectionism, but also the passion and duality which are at the heart of the Nikka spirit.
