With nine soup bases and over 150 dishes on the menu, there’s no doubt that Hua Ting Steamboat is the place to be if you’re looking to be spoilt for choice.

At Hua Ting Steamboat, plenty of care goes into crafting delicious soups that form the base for a dining experience here. Each soup base is prepared from scratch daily, made from the freshest ingredients and simmered for hours to coax out deep wells of flavour. The Superior Fish Soup with Winter Melon and Conpoy is a stellar example. Refined yet laced with a subtle note of salt from boiling fish bones for hours, this is a soup you’ll gladly drink on its own. Also good is the creamy Shark’s Bone Cartilage Soup with Fresh Bean Curd Sheets, a collagen-packed broth that is as nourishing as it is delicious.

While soup is the star of the show here at Hua Ting Steamboat, their selection of prime meats and seafood play a good supporting role. Pick from platters of marbled Japanese wagyu, fatty strips of Kurobuta pork, and fresh fish slices to be dipped into your choice of soups. The handmade meatballs are also a must-try, with each springy orb well-seasoned and made from freshly ground meat. Fans of steamboat will also not want to miss the crispy beancurd skin rolls that unfurl in a mere six seconds after having sopped up all the goodness of the soup.
