  Birthday dinner

  The staff were fantastic. As this was a surprise birthday dinner, we made a few requests and they acceded to our somewhat crazy requests. They were patient with our group of 8 ladies. Thank you Folkore for making this a happy occasion for the birthday girl.

  Really Good Food!

  Took a while for us to be served.
  
  Fortunately we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food is.
  
  Place is a little bit far off from town but it’s definitely worth a try.
  
  The fish dish was our favorite.
  Love the other dishes too except for the otah. Otah was dry and doesn’t resemble the otah that’s served in other places.

  This was one of the best Peranakan

  This was one of the best Peranakan cuisine we have tried. The rendang were tender and (for no better words) really yummy. The buah keluar were “de shelled” and easy to eat. Dining area was quite unique as it was hotel lobby but cosy enough.
  Happy hour for the spirits was good value. Otah was interesting where one could still see pieces of seafood. The serving portion was generous. Wait staff were attentive. Will go back again

  Peranaken Cuisine

  Overall one of the best Peranaken cuisine I had. Love their Belachan and homemade chilli.
  Enjoyed the salad and the fried chicken very much.
  Variety of desserts too.

  Good Penarakan food and worth the trip

  The beef cheek rendang is a must try, tender and flavorful sauce. Overall food is good and worth the trip, only short of 5 stars because of service level. Train up the service staff to be able to make good recommendations from the menu.
