  Food too salty

  I ordered mapo beancurd , vegetables , lion head soup , fried rice and asked for less salt and oil when the server took my orders. The food was too salty and oily when it came. It was my first visit to the restaurant and truly a disappointing one.

  Dinner at Crystal Jade

  The Dim Sum Buffet was not available since the machine that made the dim sum apparently broke down at 6:00 pm on the day we had booked the buffet!!! We had to order a-al-carte. Size of the Xiao long bao has reduced to 25mm!! although the cost remains the same.

  Family gathering dinner

  The peking duck was up to expectations and not pricey at $88. Soup of the day was thick and nutritious. Roasted pork was as usual hk style and crispy. Silver bait fish side dish was a little big but still tasty. Fried Nian Gao coated with coconut was Superb. The snow chrysanthemum is a must try.

  Staff show upset face when I use my membership discount

  Overall service was good as not many customers. However service crew was not friendly when I told her I would like to use my membership discount. So I will not refer the restaurant to my friend and will not return to the same restaurant, though some service crews are friendly

  Clean private room, friendly serving staff and spacious

  Private room overseeing RWS from window in room. Spacious and staff attending is accommodating. Good chinese tea, crispy braised pork belly and fresh shark’s fin soup. Colourful menu and food comes fast if you are hungry. Rice is fragrant, dim sum selection is good, spinach vegetable is fresh. Desert mango sago pomelo is fresh as usual in crystal jade restaurants. Location is near exit and convenient.
